"A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside."
~ Denis Waitley ~
Isn't that a lovely quote? It was sent to me in an automated e-card from a newsletter I subscribe to and it made me, well, smile. :o) Wouldn't the world be a nicer place if everyone smiled a bit more? I'm off to Toronto with Tim for two nights this week so that we can celebrate our anniversary together while he fulfills his work commitments. One thing that always makes me smirk is walking around big cities like Toronto and just watching the people go by rushing off to something or somewhere and all of them with a big scowl on their faces! I wonder if people even realize how miserable they look? Probably not. Smile people, it doesn't hurt and it just might make you or someone else feel good!
I enjoyed a wonderful birthday yesterday with my loving family. I was spoiled with pressies, included a new snow shovel from my smart-ass parents, and enjoyed my favourite meal of all time: fresh cooked lobster **drool** followed by birthday cake made and decorated by Timmy. I'm really lucky that calories don't count on birthdays **urgh**. I'm one lucky lady to be loved by so many and to love them right back. Life is good.

Our darling girl celebrated her 10th birthday yesterday, can't believe I have another one in "double digits"....ACK! She was spoiled rotten...of course...and had a fun and full day! Today she is off for an extra jumping lesson as a treat for her big 10! Happy Birthday Princess, we all love you very much.
